What is Pilates?
Pilates is a movement concept developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900’s. It is a low-impact form of exercise with a strong focus on the breath and the core. The mind and body work together through a set of controlled, precise and flowing movements which helps strengthen muscles.

What are your Pilates classes like?
My group classes are usually on a mat, chair or standing while my private sessions with clients are generally on the Pilates reformer machine which uses straps and springs, these can help assist clients in movements or indeed increase intensity and resistance.
Classes are an hour long and each session is planned carefully along with a curated playlist to keep everyone motivated and in the zone.
